Jesus takes us on journeys. The longer we live, the more likely we are to go through difficult, faith-challenging seasons. I’ve been on such a journey in my own life.
At times, things felt so overwhelming that I didn’t even have the presence of mind to sit down and read. These devotionals are short—written for shorter attention spans and for those moments when you just need something simple and grounding. Each one always points back to Jesus and the Gospel.
The 21 devotions also include pieces of my own story—hopefully just enough to remind you that you have a fellow sojourner walking alongside you.

Natalee Whitesell
I am the mother of four amazing children: Eli (23), Abe (21), Chloe (20), and Maeve (18). I love Jesus, traveling, writing, cooking, and spending time in the sauna. More than anything, I love people.
I am currently studying spiritual direction because I have a deep desire to help others encounter the same Jesus who has faithfully delivered me throughout my life.
I also teach at a local private school, where I have the unique opportunity to design my own curriculum. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Clemson University and have lived internationally in both Uganda and Ireland.
Which yields its fruit in season; It’s leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers and comes to maturity.
